Memories

In life, there are moments that slip by unnoticed, yet they become cherished memories that we hold close to our hearts. The mundane and ordinary can hold a significance we don't realize until it's too late.

I remember a simple day when we decided to watch a movie. You offered me popcorn without salt, a small gesture that meant the world to me. We laughed at the new actor on the screen, little did we know that he would go on to be a big star. It was just another day, but it was perfect because we were together.

Friday nights were our time to dine out. We always went to the same restaurant and had the same dishes. The waiter knew our order by heart, but he still gave us the menu out of habit. We talked about our dreams and future plans, and I knew that I wanted to spend forever with you.

But now, as I sit alone in front of the TV, I realize how much those little moments meant. Choosing a movie or a restaurant together, sharing our favorite snacks, and dreaming of a future filled with love and laughter. It's these moments that I miss the most.

Memories are like a warm blanket that we wrap ourselves in when we feel lost or alone. They remind us of the love we once had, the laughter we shared, and the dreams we held onto. Even though you're gone, I still feel your presence in the little things - a favorite cereal on the shelf or a familiar song on the radio.

Some memories bring a smile to my face, while others break my heart, others remind of the special time we had.
